Correction Policy

CoinAPI strives for the highest level of accuracy in our index calculations. However, if errors occur, we adhere to the following correction policy:

1. Materiality Threshold: Errors resulting in an index value change of less than 0.1% will typically not be corrected unless they persist over multiple calculation periods.

2. Communication: All material errors and their corrections will be communicated to stakeholders via email and published on our website.

3. Correction Window: We maintain a correction window of two business days for end-of-day index values. Errors discovered beyond this window will be corrected only if deemed to have a significant impact on the index.

4. Documentation: All corrections will be documented, including the nature of the error, its impact, and steps taken to prevent recurrence.
